George Nychis

At Soroco, George has been instrumental in building scalable systems, algorithms, and intellectual property. George values the relationships he's built with employees and customers, considering them a source of continual learning. 

George holds a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University, where his research work spanned wireless networking, on-chip networks, and security. He has published papers at top-tier ACM and IEEE conferences including SIGCOMM, NSDI, and MOBICOM. He also holds multiple patents. He has also spent time at Microsoft Research, working on algorithms for dynamics spectrum access. 

In his past life, George has been a key contributor to GNURadio, an open-source software-defined radio project. Outside of Soroco, George is a lifelong learner, often working on small technology projects to expand his knowledge. His interests span distributed systems, statistical techniques, image processing, and cloud technologies. Family, friends, and technology are integral parts of his life, inspiring and motivating him in unique ways.
